[Approx. 11,000 people are using] Aiming for a maximum communication fee of 0 yen for smartphones! Center Mobile, a new-generation SIM service realized with a business model of <AI x Big Data x Advertising>
Project Overview
Our company aims to reduce monthly communication charges for users' smartphones (hereinafter referred to as "smartphones") to a maximum of 0 yen by providing optimal advertisements to users. We aim to provide a “cheap SIM” service.
Currently, the average monthly communication fee for the three major carriers is about 8,000 yen per month, which I think is not cheap (Source: MMD Research Institute). Therefore, we turned our attention to advertising as a concrete measure to reduce communication charges to a maximum of 0 yen.
This is a business model in which advertisements are displayed on smartphones through the dedicated application "Maimo", and part of the advertising costs are returned to smartphone communication charges. Also, next year, we plan to implement a function that will utilize AI to analyze information on how often users use the service and automatically provide only advertisements that match their lifestyle.
We would like to expand the new generation smartphone that combines "advertisement" with "cheap SIM service" that can reduce communication charges than major carriers.
Aim for a maximum of 0 yen! New-generation SIM service "Center Mobile" realized with a business model of
Currently, it has been about half a year since the service was launched, but the total number of users is currently about 11,000, and the number of advertisers is 7 companies, making steady progress.
First of all, in order to increase the number of users, our current goal is to increase the number of users through direct sales of our original cheap SIM brand "Center Mobile" and services such as OEM manufacturing of cheap SIMs. .
We are aiming for 20,000 users by the end of the year, and after that we plan to strengthen our advertising and contact points so that we can handle 1 million users.
In the future, I would like to dispel the image of "advertising is something to skip", and create an era where meaningful advertisements can be seen at any time, and smartphones can be used for free and as a matter of course, like TV. I'm here.
