テネシー州チャタヌーガの地方紙Chattanooga Times Free Pressは現地時間9月11日、公式Webページにおいて、2022年の中盤には紙面の印刷を停止し、iPad等のタブレット端末で利用可能なデジタル版に移行すると発表しました。 なお、日曜版のみは印刷を継続するとしています。 Chattanooga Times Free Pressを所有するメディア企業WEHCO Mediaのウォルター会長は、米国の出版業界は広告収入でFacebookやGoogle等の大手テック企業に負け続けており、Chattanooga Times Free Pressを維持するためには、デジタル版への移行が避けられないと表明しています。
Distribute iPad to customers
