フォーカルポイント株式会社は、Hooke Audio（フックオーディオ）社の日本国内総代理店契約を締結し、バイノーラル録音可能なインイヤー型ヘッドホン『Hooke Verse（フックヴァース）』を12月6日より発売する。カラーはブラックとホワイトの２色。価格は、18,180円（税別）。

Hooke Verseが特徴とする「バイノーラル録音」は、あたかもその場所で聞いているかのような臨場感あふれるリアルなサウンドが楽しめる立体音響の方式。バイノーラル（binaural）は、「両耳の」といった意味をもち、イヤホン型の本体には耳に相当する部分にマイクが内蔵されている。そのため、まさに耳の鼓膜がとらえる音をそのまま、音が聞こえてくる場所および距離、時間、音圧、音のふくらみ、さらに周囲の地形による反響、自分自身の耳や体の各部によって複雑に反射した音波など、非常に細やかかつ鮮やかな音像によって立体的な音を記録することができるという。

また、このバイノーラル録音された音（および映像）を楽しむためには、専用の機器、アプリは必要としません。一般的なステレオ・ヘッドホンやステレオ・イヤホンであれば、バイノーラル録音された音を再生することが可能。
