Allied Telesis "SED" and Syslog server products for Windows work together
Allied Telesis and Jupiter Technology announced on October 7 that Allied Telesis' SDN/application collaboration solution "Secure Enterprise SDN (SES)" and "Windows-based Syslog Server" sold by Jupiter Technology have been linked. .
Allied Telesis' "SES" adapts SDN/OpenFlow technology to the enterprise market, linking enterprise applications and networks. A solution that reduces man-hours and costs associated with network operation management and strengthens security by linking.
Jupiter Technology, as an import agent, handles Syslog servers for Windows such as "Kiwi Syslog Server" and "WinSyslog". In addition to the standard functions of a log server, these products are equipped with features that are effective for linkage, and are said to be highly rated by network and system experts.
With this collaboration, SNMP traps and Syslogs from the threat detection system are relayed 1:N, reduced traffic load by forwarding filters, SNMP trap/Syslog conversion delivery, Japanese character code conversion, etc. Eliminate mutual challenges between threat detection systems and SES.
SES is already linked with several corporate targeted cyber attack threat detection systems, but with this collaboration, we will create an environment that makes it easier to link with targeted cyber attack threat detection system manufacturers. We are planning to provide it.
