NEC, short -term introduction package of face authentication system, multiple composition examples focusing on entrance management and payment

NEC announced on October 12, 2021 that a short -term introduction system package of the face authentication system will be launched in mid -November of the same year.Utilizing the company's biological authentication and ID linkage functions, short -term introduction to offices and complex commercial facilities will be possible.As a price example (excluding tax), the initial fee is from 15 million yen to 410,000 yen per month for a tablet -type face authentication system in cooperation with the entrance and exit management system.As a sales target, sales of 30 billion yen in 2025 in smart building -related businesses.

　NEC will launch a short -term introduction system package of the face authentication system from mid -November of the same year.Utilizing the functions of biological authentication and ID linkage that NEC has provided so far, it has been easy and easy to introduce it to each introduction place, such as offices and complex commercial facilities.As a use of the system to be provided, the entry and exit management system and the payment system are assumed.

　As a system configuration example, in the case of a face authentication system of a tablet type (20 facial entry and exit touch points), which has a linked function with existing entry and exit management systems, the price (excluding tax, the same applies hereinafter) is 15 million.From the yen, starting from 410,000 yen per month.In the case of a reception tablet type (two entry / exit touch points) that does not have a linkage function with the entrance and exit management system, the initial fee starts from 3 million yen and starts at 320,000 yen per month.

　In the case of the use of the payment system, it is possible to settle cash or credit cards at a shop or cafeteria in the building by face authentication.In addition to using two -factor authentication with face authentication and PIN code, face authentication payments can be made when wearing a mask.It can be connected to existing store systems and POS, and can be used in many situations such as face -to -face cash register, self -POS, and cafeteria.For example, in a cafeteria, you can settle it simply by placing a tray on the accounting tier without letting it go from the tray (Fig. 2).

　As an example of a system configuration, if the POS remodeling is unnecessary (5 manned cash registers, no linked to POS payment information), the initial cost starts from 3.3 million yen and starts at 160,000 yen per month.

Providing "Face Authentication Edge Device"

　In late November 2021, NEC will also launch an edge computer "NEC Face Authentication Edge Device" (Photo 1) with a face authentication function.Various functions for facial authentication, such as face recognition, spoofing countermeasure function, and touchless starting function by human sensor, are provided as standard.The price starts at 350,000 yen, including hardware terminals, system -linked software, etc.
