Chrome desktop version is about to launch new features! Content sharing becomes simple
Google is about to launch "Sharing Hub", which allows you to easily share Chrome content on your desktop.
The Chrome mobile version of Android and iOS has implemented the function of sharing Chrome content.
Google Chrome's "Sharing Hub"
"Sharing Hub" refers to the shared table that is basically displayed in the phone's Chrome. Click "share" from the Chrome main menu to open it.
This "Sharing Hub" contains various options for sharing the web page that is displayed in front of you. For example, you can share a web page using an installed application or QR code, or send the page to another device.
These options allow you to easily share content with any application or feature.
The desktop version of Chrome's "Sharing Hub" will be rolled out in the near future.
According to MSPoweruser, Google introduced the "Sharing Hub" feature to the desktop version of Chrome. When this is achieved, Chrome will have the same experience across all supported devices.
The flag for this feature has been added to the build of Chrome Canary. However, Google hasn't added feature code to the browser yet, so you can't use this feature at this time.
How do I enable the "Sharing Hub" flag in Chrome?
One way to allow access after "Sharing Hub" is rolled out is to enable the flag for this feature in the browser. If you keep these flags as ON, the feature will be displayed as soon as it is implemented.
Make sure that Chrome Canary is installed on your computer, and then follow these steps to enable the "Sharing Hub" flag in your browser:
- Chrome Canaryで新しいタブを開き、「chrome://flags」と入力して、「Enter」キーを押します。
- 「Sharing Hub」
Even if the flag is enabled, the browser will not change. This is because, as mentioned above, the code for this feature has not been added to the browser.
However, it won't take long for Google to add code.
Desktop version of Chrome adds sharing options
When "Sharing Hub" introduced desktop Chrome, you can now easily share content from your desktop, just like in mobile Chrome.
