Depending on the contract plan, Netflix allows up to four people to watch different movies and dramas, so many families will have one contract and reuse the account. However, if your family uses one account, you can easily see the viewing history of other family members, so it is important to delete the viewing history of dangerous works if you tell your family what you saw.

Get to your family from your Netflix viewing history

As the terms of use say, "You can't share it with anyone other than your home," Netflix allows family members to reuse their accounts regardless of their contract plan. Also, when using a common account with your family, it is convenient to set different "profiles" for viewing.

Netflix's profile is used for features such as selecting and notifying recommended movies and setting an age limit for children. For example, if one of the couples likes horror and the other likes documentaries, you can keep watching on each profile and you won't recommend documentaries to horror lovers.

However, Netflix's profile doesn't have a password, so you can freely access other family profiles. Therefore, the fact that I kept watching the naughty movies designated by R18 every day may be revealed to my family from the viewing history.

Delete viewing history from Netflix settings

If you don't want your family to know your Netflix viewing history, it's a good idea to use your computer to hide your viewing history. To do so, first access Netflix and display the account setting screen. From your profile displayed in "Profiles and Parental Controls", click "View" in the "View Viewing History" section.
