If a password to be changed is found, Chrome has a function to generate a new strong password and automatically enter it, but the password change itself is not completed in Chrome, of course, and you log in using that password. You need to visit the website and make changes.

Chrome's password manager displays a "Update Password" button in the list of misused and weak passwords, but pressing it just opens the website. You need to log in again, look for account settings, user settings, login settings, send a password reset email, or manually update with different procedures for each service.

With the password 1 tap update function announced by Google, this part is automated in cooperation with the corresponding website side. The Google Assistant will navigate you step by step, such as transitioning to the password update screen and entering your old and new passwords.
