On May 6, Brabus announced the Brabus "800" (BRABUS 800) based on the improved new Mercedes AMG "E63 S 4MATIC+" in Europe.

Brabus is based in Germany and is known as the top tuner of Mercedes-Benz. Brabus' latest work, Brabus 800, pursues further performance based on the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+, a high-performance grade located at the top of the improved new "E-class sedan".

The base vehicle Mercedes AMG E63 S 4MATIC + is equipped with a direct-injection 4.0-liter V-type 8-cylinder gasoline twin-turbo engine. The maximum output is 612hp/5750~6500rpm, and the maximum torque is 86.7kgm/2500~4500rpm.

This spec is 41hp and 10.2kgm powerful figures compared to the standard grade maximum output 571hp and maximum torque 76.5kgm. The transmission is a 9-speed "AMG Speed Shift MCT 9G" with paddle shift. The drive system is a full-time 4WD AMG performance specification "4MATIC+", and variable distribution of drive torque is possible. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 3.4 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the standard grade. The maximum speed is 300km/h with a limiter.

In the Brabus 800, this direct-injection 4.0-liter V-type 8-cylinder gasoline twin-turbo engine was tuned. The ECU (engine control unit) called "B40S-800 PowerXtra" optimizes fuel injection and ignition mapping. In addition, the boost pressure of the turbocharger has been increased.

This gives a maximum output of 800hp and a maximum torque of 102kgm. Compared to the base vehicle Mercedes AMG E63 S 4MATIC +, the power was increased by 188hp and the torque by 15.3kgm. The power performance of the Brabus 800 is 0-100km/h acceleration in 3.0 seconds and maximum speed of 300km/h (limiter activated). 0-100km/h acceleration is 0.4 seconds faster than the base vehicle Mercedes AMG E63 S 4MATIC+.

The sports exhaust system optimizes output by reducing exhaust back pressure. Actively controlled exhaust flaps change the exhaust sound. The V8 twin-turbo engine is quiet in 'coming home mode' and emits a powerful sound in 'race mode'. The tail pipe is made of carbon.

Equipped with Brabus carbon aero parts

Brabus-like production is applied to the interior and exterior. Aero parts are made of carbon fiber. The front lip spoiler is combined with the left and right air inlets to reduce front axle lift at high speeds and pursue further stability in handling. At the rear is a carbon fiber boot spoiler and diffuser. The diffuser is integrated with the tailpipe of Brabus' sports exhaust.

The 10-spoke forged wheel called "Monoblock Z" is 21 inches in size. Red pinstriping is coordinated with red Brabus brake calipers. Tires are available from Brabus' technology partners Continental, Pirelli and Yokohama. The size is 265/30ZR21 for the front and 305/25ZR21 for the rear.

When the Brabus suspension module is installed, the vehicle height can be adjusted by 10 to 20 mm depending on the selected driving mode.

The interior uses a stainless steel scuff plate with a backlit Brabus logo. This stainless steel scuff plate glows in a color that matches the ambient lighting. It can also be equipped with Brabus aluminum door pins and pedals, and an aluminum paddle shift called "RACE".
